Chambord :
In the midst of a forest full of game, Chambord was originally the hunting lodge of the Counts of Blois. François the 1st, decided to destroy this little castle and replace it with a massive dwelling which will become the biggest castle of the Loire Valley and a true Renaissance masterpiece after 150 years of building.
Cheverny :
Cheverny is considered the best furnished castle of the Loire Valley : Gobelins and Flanders tapestries, Louis the 14th and 15th chests of drawers, bedroom of the King and a thousand other marvels to delight you.
You’ll also discover an interactive exhibition retracing the adventures of Tintin at the Marlinkspike Hall in real size.
